1990 Vertue #193 PRICE REDUCED

1990 Vertue #193 PRICE REDUCED
This little beauty is as stout and seaworthy as they come and it is with regret that I am parting with her.
A one of a kind Laurent Giles Vertue, AKA Andrillot.
She was built and launched in 1991 as “Patience”, and relaunched May of 2012 as “Canvasback”.
She’s rigged as a gaff cutter, giving her ample sail space for her 25’ hull.
With the topsail up she can sail in the lightest of winds.
Widely recognized as the most seaworthy vessels of her size.
The Vertue design has done it all, rounded the horn, crossed the Atlantic, and circumnavigated the world! She has all the seaworthiness of a larger vessel at a fraction the upkeep and moorage cost.
Perfect for single handing or bringing a few friends out on an adventure.
Constructed of Douglas fir planking on White Oak frames and fastened in galvanized steel, she is stoutly built for her size.
With Bronze keel bolts through a 4500 lb lead keel, she has a ballast ratio of over 50% making her a sturdy vessel in any wind.
Her Teak decks were recently restored and the seam compound replaced (2018).
Mast and booms were refinished and re-stepped at the same time.
She has been hauled out every other year and great care has been taken to maintain her hull seams and paint.
She takes a little extra loving care to keep her well maintained but she is well worth it.
