Ability to teach any of the following courses:
- Introduction to Health Sciences
- Nutrition
- Environmental Health
- Certified Nurse Aide
- AHA BLS Fundamentals of First Aid/CPR
- Medical Terminology
- Emergency Medical Technician 1
Education & Experience
- Master's degree, or equivalent professional experience in the health sciences field is required.
- Two years professional experience and demonstrated expertise in the health sciences field is required.
- Previous experience teaching at the secondary or post-secondary level in a Health Science related program is preferred.
- Experience working successfully with people of diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds is preferred.

Adjunct positions are granted on a semester-by-semester contingent basis. Adjunct contracts do not guarantee employment beyond the specific semester for which they are issued. Qualified applicants for this position will be placed into a hiring pool for the academic year 2021-2022, from which instructors will be hired for assignments as needed. Adjuncts are paid a minimum of $1,198.80 per credit per semester.
