Job Overview::
SEARHC is the recipient of healthcare services and facility grants from the USDHHS’ Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The HRSA Program Coordinator will provide direct support to the HRSA Program Director in the oversight and administration of the HRSA Community Health Center grant and related federal awards. This position helps ensure that all grant application and reporting needs are high quality and timely, and that the organization maintains ongoing compliance with respect to all funding requirements.
  • Support the HRSA Program Director in gathering, organizing, and presenting information required for all HRSA Health Center and related award deliverables, including the annual Uniform Data System report, Budget Period Renewal application, Federal Tort Claims Act Redeeming application, multi-year Service Area Competition application, Progress Reports, and any supplemental, special initiative and expansion funding, or other deliverables.
  • Support the HRSA Program Director in efforts and activities to maintain continuous organizational compliance with HRSA Program requirements, as well as any identified quality improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor organizational status of HPSA scores and manage HPSA score update needs.
  • Provide research and analysis of health status, demographic, financial and other data as required for grant development and reporting and the development of special projects.
  • Assist with budget monitoring for all HRSA grant awards.
  • Support planning and preparing for all HRSA Site Visits.


Baseline Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.


Two years of relevant health system work experience to include: program coordination or program management, budget and financial processes; federal or state grant experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Working knowledge of grant management and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare service delivery.


  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand Federal and State grant regulations and other guiding documents for grant management.
  • Ability to accurately enter or transcribe information from working documents into grantor reporting portals.
  • Ability to synthesize information and help prepare written deliverables.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously on a defined timeline when needed.
